OMON Simulator

OMON Simulator is a police-action game about Russian riot police, and that alone makes it a very narrow sort of title. By our assessment, its main interest is in the fantasy of tactical policing, command chains, shields, and entry work rather than in open-ended play. The downside is obvious: the subject limits the audience, and the appeal depends heavily on whether that kind of uniformed action is interesting in the first place. In practice it is a game about procedure and pressure, not free-form chaos. Compared with broader tactical shooters, it is much more specific in theme and therefore much easier to bounce off. OMON Simulator is for people who already want that setting; everyone else will know quickly that it is not their thing.
