Normality

Normality is a first-person adventure built around oddball puzzles and a grim little city ruled by routine. By our assessment, its appeal comes from that off-kilter world and the way it mixes exploration with simple, sometimes awkward problem-solving. The trade-off is rough movement and a dated feel, so it asks for patience more than quick thrills. It sits closer to cult PC oddities than to polished modern adventure games, and that roughness is part of the point. The game suits people who enjoy eccentric atmosphere and do not mind old-school friction; everyone looking for smooth pacing will bounce off it. The controls and puzzles are the sort of thing that make the setting matter most.
