Nine Parchments

Nine Parchments is a co-op action game built around spellcasting, friendly-fire chaos, and quick runs through fantasy maps. By our assessment, its best idea is also its sharpest edge: the screen fills with bright projectiles, so good positioning and timing matter as much as raw damage. That makes the moment-to-moment play lively, but it also means mistakes are punished by your own team as often as by enemies. The structure is simple and a bit lean, more about replaying stages than about deep build crafting, so it can feel thin if someone wants a long progression ladder. It sits near light co-op action RPGs and arcade spell games rather than grand fantasy adventures. It works best for groups that like noisy local or online teamwork and do not mind setting each other on fire by accident; solo players or people after a big story will probably find it small.
