Nexus PI

Nexus PI suggests a detective or investigation game, and that usually means piecing together clues, menus, and deductions rather than pure action. By our assessment, the real strength of that kind of game is the pleasure of connecting small facts into one clean answer. The downside is obvious too: if the evidence system is muddy, the whole thing turns into guesswork, and that gets tiring fast. In practice, these games live on attention to detail and a willingness to read carefully, sometimes more than once. Nexus PI belongs to the side of games where the brainwork matters more than speed, and the audience is usually people who enjoy solving over sprinting.
