Nevermind

Nevermind builds its identity on pressure: the game is for players who want tense exploration, careful movement, and a constant sense that the environment is pushing back. By our assessment, its best quality is the way it turns ordinary progress into a nervous crawl, with puzzles and survival elements making every room feel like a decision rather than a checkpoint. The trade-off is that this mood-heavy design can be exhausting if you want clean action or a relaxed pace, because the game asks for patience and attention more than quick gratification. In practice it is the kind of game where reading spaces, watching for danger, and keeping your nerve matter more than raw speed. Compared with lighter horror-adventure games, Nevermind sits on the more demanding end of the spectrum. It suits people who like discomfort as part of the design, and it is less appealing if you want something breezier.
