Never Split the Party is a co-op dungeon crawler that asks a small group to move like one nervous creature: share roles, watch space, and survive traps together. By our assessment, the best thing about it is that teamwork pressure; the name is not a joke, because wandering off really does break the run’s rhythm. That makes it tense in a good way, especially for players who like coordination and a little chaos at the same time. The downside is that it depends heavily on the group, so a quiet or uncooperative party can drain the fun fast. In practice it is a game of communication, positioning, and learning to respect the room before the room eats everyone. Compared with solo-friendly dungeon games, it is much more social and much less forgiving.
