Neva

Neva puts movement and emotion ahead of complexity, so it is aimed at players who care more about feel, animation, and atmosphere than about systems piled on systems. By our assessment, that is exactly where its strength lies: the visual storytelling and the sense of moving through a crafted world. The trade-off is that a game built this way can be brief and mechanically spare, which will leave system-heavy platformer fans wanting more. In practice, that usually means smooth traversal, simple inputs, and a lot of attention to what the world is doing around you. Compared with heavier action platformers, Neva sits on the gentler, more lyrical side of the genre. It is a good reach for players who want a polished, quiet journey and do not need the combat to carry the whole thing.
