Necrosmith

Necrosmith is a necromancer management game for players who like assembling monsters from parts and watching a small base turn into a body-making workshop. Its strongest idea is the corpse-patching system, which gives it a weird, readable identity inside the survival-crafting crowd. By our assessment, that is also where its charm sits: the game turns minion building into a messy, tactical puzzle. The downside is that the loop can run out of fresh surprises once the part-combining novelty is understood, because the rest is familiar base defense and resource juggling. In practice it is more about arranging, upgrading, and reacting than about direct action. Compared with bigger crafting games, it is leaner and more focused on the theme itself. It is best for people who enjoy dark systems and tinkering, and less for anyone who wants a broad sandbox with lots of freedom.
