Move or Die lives on speed, noise, and the way it keeps swapping the rules under the player’s feet. By our assessment, that constant rule change is the point: each round asks for quick reactions and immediate adjustment, which makes it lively in groups and with people who enjoy party chaos. The downside is that the joke wears thin if the rotation of modes and modifiers is not your thing, because the game rarely settles long enough to become strategic. In practice it feels like a string of short dares, where the screen changes pace before anyone can settle in. It sits closer to a party game than to a competitive platformer you master over time. Move or Die is at its best when the table wants fast resets and a lot of movement.
