Mount Your Friends is built for slapstick physics and the sort of party-game mess where bodies, balance, and timing matter more than dignity. By our assessment, its appeal is obvious enough: it produces ridiculous stacking contests and loud laughs in short bursts. The downside is that the joke is also the whole structure, so once the gag lands, there is not much else to uncover. In practice it is one of those games that feels funniest when a room is already in the right mood. Compared with fuller party titles, it has very little to do outside the central stunt. Mount Your Friends is at its best when everyone wants a brief, absurd competition on the same screen.
