Mortal Sin

Mortal Sin demands quick reflexes and a tolerance for close-up brutality, because it is built around first-person melee combat where dodging, spacing, and timing matter more than patience. By our assessment, its strongest point is the punchy feel of each encounter: the game wants you to stay aggressive, read openings, and move with intent instead of circling safely. That also creates the main limitation, since the whole thing can feel relentless if someone wants a slower, more forgiving action game. In practice it is tense and physical, with the camera close enough that every swing and mistake feels immediate. Compared with broad action RPGs, it is narrower and harsher, but that narrowness is exactly the point. Mortal Sin is for players who want their action direct and messy, not polite.
