Morrigan's Isle

Morrigan's Isle sounds like a fantasy adventure, and that usually means exploration and story carry more weight than mechanical depth. By our assessment, the name suggests a folklore mood that may matter more than spectacle, which can be a strength if the setting is the main attraction. The downside is that games built around that kind of island mystery often live or die on atmosphere and pacing, so a weak loop shows quickly. In play, these games tend to be about moving through a compact world, reading clues, and letting the place itself do much of the work. It sits somewhere between a small narrative adventure and a lightly guided exploration game, not a big combat-driven epic. Morrigan's Isle is for players who want setting first and systems second. The limit is usually how much the island can do once the mystery layer is gone.
