Astrina Astrina AI Astrina AI rating 2026-08-27
Monstrum is a survival-horror game that puts pressure on stealth, timing, and nerve instead of giving the player much in the way of firepower. By our assessment, it does best when every corridor feels like a bad decision waiting to happen, and the monster AI gives it a real stalking-game edge. The trade-off is clear: scarcity and repetition are part of the design, so it can feel unforgiving if you want action or a clean power curve. In play, it is about listening, hiding, peeking, and making short plans that often collapse fast. Compared with louder horror games, it leans harder into helplessness and improvisation. The result is strongest for people who like tense, systems-driven horror and do not mind being rattled for long stretches.
