Mega Man Legacy Collection 2

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 keeps the old action-platforming structure intact, which is exactly why fans of the series reach for it. By our assessment, the appeal is the straightforward run-and-jump rhythm, the boss fights, and the clean way these later Mega Man games are packaged together. It is also a more convenient shelf than chasing separate releases, especially if someone wants the classic Capcom formula in one place. The trade-off is that this is still old-school Mega Man: sharp timing, memorized patterns, and a lot of retrying when a stage does not go right. In practice it feels brisk and exact, not forgiving, and the menu-based collection setup is there to preserve rather than modernize. It sits beside the first Legacy Collection as the companion set for the later games, and the number 2 in the title is part of the package rather than a sequel promise. That makes it a strong pick for players who already know they want those games, and a poor place to start for anyone hoping for a soft introduction.
