Manual Samuel - Last Tuesday Edition builds its joke around one cruel idea: even ordinary movement has to be managed by hand. By our assessment, that is exactly why the game stands out, because it turns breathing, walking, blinking, and other basic actions into a deliberately awkward puzzle of timing and control. The trade-off is obvious: the comedy depends on repetition, and the same gag can start to wear thin if the player does not enjoy trial-and-error slapstick. In practice it feels like a small, mean, very specific challenge game where success comes from paying attention to absurd little instructions. It sits nearer to QWOP-style bodily chaos and physics comedy than to a normal platformer, and it works best when the player is in the mood for frustration that is meant to be funny.
