Make Way

Make Way is a racing game built around building the track as you go, so the action is as much about placement and sabotage as about driving. By our assessment, that is the thing it does best: each round changes under your hands, and the course becomes a mess of jumps, corners, and traps. The limit is obvious too, because the fun depends on the group being willing to lean into chaos and replay the same kind of joke more than once. In practice it plays fast, noisy, and a little mean in the friendly party-game way. It sits nearer to chaotic local multiplayer than to clean racing, and the people who enjoy it are usually after arguments over the course as much as the finish line.
