Maitetsu:Pure Station leans hard into train-obsessed visual-novel territory, and that is exactly why people go to it. By our assessment, its appeal sits in the mash-up of railfan detail, anime styling, and a route-based story built around a very specific hobby culture. The trade-off is obvious: if trains and this kind of character-led VN writing are not already interesting, the whole thing can feel narrow.
