Magdalena

Magdalena is a name that has been used for several games, so the title alone does most of the work here. By our assessment, it reads as an obscure game rather than something with a clear public identity, and there is no solid basis here for pretending otherwise. That makes it hard to judge on features or design without guessing, which is exactly the wrong move. In practice, the strongest thing about a card like this is simply not inventing more than the name gives. It sits far below any game with a distinct genre or widely known reputation, because there is no stable thing to compare it against. The sensible read is that this is for people who already know the specific Magdalena they mean, not for anyone looking for a reliably described game. As a result, the review has to stay short, and the ceiling is just the uncertainty itself.
