Madrun sounds like a game built around speed, momentum, and repeated attempts, which puts it in the lane of runners, arcade challenges, or score-chasing play. By our assessment, that kind of design lives or dies on the feel of movement, because if the controls do not stay crisp, the whole loop gets muddy very quickly. The honest limit is that a run-based game can be lean to the point of sameness, especially if the levels or obstacles do not keep changing enough. In practice, it is the sort of thing people return to for a few more tries rather than for a long evening. Compared with bigger action games, it has less room for story and more room for rhythm. Madrun is for players who enjoy repetition when the movement itself is the point.
