Madden NFL 23

Madden NFL 23 lives or dies on whether a football game needs a full TV-style presentation, licensed teams, and the annual roster update loop, and this one delivers that familiar package. Its real strength is the pro football structure: playbooks, franchise modes, online matches, and the sense of moving through a season rather than just a string of games. By our assessment, it is still the standard choice for NFL fans, but it also carries the usual series limits: repetition, familiar animations, and a feeling that each entry must justify itself against the previous one. In hand, it is the sort of sports game people keep around for roster play and quick competitive sessions, not for surprise. The Madden NFL 23 name fits a long-running annual formula, and that formula is exactly what it is selling.
