MadGuns

MadGuns goes after the straightforward arcade shooter crowd: the kind of game that wants quick aiming, quick restarts, and a short loop of action rather than long systems. By our assessment, its appeal would sit in the feel of constant movement and the clean business of shooting before you start worrying about anything else. The trade-off is plain too: this sort of game usually lives or dies on maps, enemy variety, and weapon feedback, so repetition shows fast if those pieces are thin. In practice that means a game of reflexes, not planning, with little patience for long tutorials or heavy story. MadGuns sits closer to a fast session game than to a tactical shooter or a big campaign. It makes sense for someone who wants a quick burst of action and does not mind a narrow ceiling.
