Little Big Adventure 2

Little Big Adventure 2 is a story-driven action adventure for players who want exploration, light combat, puzzles, and a world with its own odd rules. By our assessment, its strongest quality is the mix of charm and structure: it keeps moving, gives you enough direction to avoid getting lost, and still leaves room for roaming and discovery. The trade-off is that its old-school controls and camera can feel dated, especially when movement or combat gets fussy. In practice it has the rhythm of a classic adventure game, with a lot of talking, searching, and solving between bursts of action. Compared with modern action adventures, it is slower and more eccentric; compared with pure puzzle games, it is more playful and world-focused. The number in the name is just part of the title, and the game stands on the strength of its odd little universe and the way it keeps that universe coherent.
