Let's Sing 2016

Let's Sing 2016 is a karaoke game for people who want the console to act like a home stage, with microphones, scrolling lyrics, and a party-friendly playlist format. By our assessment, its real strength is the same thing that makes the whole Let's Sing line work: it gets out of the way and lets the singing be the point. That makes it easy to bring out in a group, because the rules are simple and the scoring gives quick feedback. The honest limit is that karaoke games live on song choice, and a track list can make or break the mood faster than the mechanics do. In practice it is about taking turns, reading lyrics in time, and trying not to care too much about the score. Let's Sing 2016 sits in the familiar party-game lane, between sung-along entertainment and light competition.
