Legend of Mortal

Legend of Mortal is a wuxia-style role-playing game about martial arts, sect life, and roaming a Chinese fantasy world. By our assessment, its appeal comes from that specific setting: the game leans on cultivation, skill progression, and the social flavor of a martial-arts tale rather than on a slick action loop. The trade-off is that games in this lane often live or die on translation, pacing, and how much patience a player has for menus and reading. In practice it is the kind of RPG where the setting matters as much as the fights, and where wandering, talking, and training are part of the loop. Compared with big-budget action RPGs, it is more niche and more dependent on taste for the genre’s conventions. Legend of Mortal should be read as a focused wuxia experience, not as a broad alternative to every fantasy RPG, and its ceiling depends on how well that old-fashioned structure lands for the player.
