Later Alligator

Later Alligator stands out as a comedy adventure built around talking alligators, quick scenes, and a lot of personality in the writing and animation. By our assessment, its best quality is how much character it squeezes into a small, puzzle-leaning package; the presentation does a lot of the heavy lifting. The trade-off is that its structure is compact, so the game is not trying to be a long or mechanically dense adventure. In practice it feels like moving through short, comic encounters and reading the rhythm of each one more than solving hard problems. Compared with larger narrative adventures, it is lighter and stranger, and that is part of the appeal. Later Alligator is for players who like dialogue-first games with a playful shape, not for people looking for deep systems or a huge map.
