LUFTRAUSERS

LUFTRAUSERS turns the simple act of landing a tiny craft into a hard little arcade test of nerve and timing. By our assessment, it works best for players who like score-chasing, quick retries, and systems that are easy to learn but awkward to master. The pleasure comes from shaving seconds off a run and learning the odd, exact rhythm of the controls. The trade-off is obvious: there is not much room for story or variety, so the whole game lives or dies on that loop. It sits closer to a compact score game than to a broad action title, and that focus is its main strength. People looking for long campaigns will run out of road fast.
