Kerbal Space Program 2

Kerbal Space Program 2 keeps the same basic idea as the first game: build rockets, send them into space, and deal with the fact that physics is unforgiving. By our assessment, that is still the series’ main strength, because the fun comes from real orbital thinking, fuel management, and the slow satisfaction of a successful launch. The downside is equally clear for anyone unfamiliar with this kind of sandbox: learning the systems takes patience, and mistakes tend to end in spectacular failure rather than gentle correction. In practice it is a game of planning, tweaking, and then watching whether the machine you assembled survives its own ambition. Compared with other space games, it is less about cinematic travel and more about the engineering underneath it. Kerbal Space Program 2 is really for players who want to build and break spacecraft on purpose, and the number in the title simply marks it as the sequel.
