KartRider: Drift

KartRider: Drift is a kart racer built around drifting through corners, grabbing boosts, and keeping the car pointed just right while other players crowd the track. By our assessment, the fun comes from quick, readable races and the constant need to balance speed with control, which is exactly what kart games should do when they click. The downside is familiar too: if the handling does not land for a player, the whole loop feels slippery instead of sharp. In practice it is a bright, busy racer where muscle memory matters more than road sense, and that makes it easy to pick up but not always easy to master. Against older kart racers it leans on online competition and a flashy free-to-play style rather than on a big character-filled campaign. KartRider: Drift is for players who want short competitive races with a lot of drifting, not for someone expecting a deeper driving sim.
