Kaiju Wars

Kaiju Wars is a turn-based tactics game built around one big pressure point: keeping a city alive while giant monsters advance. By our assessment, that tension is what it does best, because every move has to balance damage, delays, and the price of leaving buildings exposed. The downside is also clear: the whole design is narrow, so if you want freeform tactics or long unit rosters, this will feel tightly scripted. In play it is about positioning, blocking lanes, and making ugly little trade-offs under a clock-like sense of danger. Compared with broader strategy games, it is more focused and more puzzle-like, with less room for wandering off the intended path. Kaiju Wars suits people who enjoy clean tactical problems and disaster-movie pressure, and it is not for players who want their strategy games to sprawl.
