KIBORG

KIBORG turns combat into a hard, repetitive grind in the best roguelike way: short runs, harsh damage, and the constant pressure to keep moving. By our assessment, it is for players who like action games that ask for timing, route choice, and a tolerance for failure rather than long story scenes. Its strength is the immediate punch of its fights and the clear loop of improving a run one decision at a time. The trade-off is that this kind of game can feel severe and samey if the combat rhythm does not click, because repetition is part of the structure. In practice, that means quick restarts, a lot of learning by loss, and very little hand-holding. Compared with softer action roguelikes, KIBORG sounds like the more punishing side of the field, and it does not seem interested in being generous.
