By our assessment, its best quality is the engineering sandbox itself, because it gives players a hands-on way to think about thrust, staging, balance, and guidance. The cost is time and tolerance for failure; this is the sort of game where a launch can end in an instant and still teach something useful. In practice it feels like sketching with parts, testing, then revising the sketch again and again until the machine behaves. Compared with simpler building games, Juno: New Origins leans harder into spaceflight and systems thinking, so it is less toy-like and more technical. It rewards curiosity and patience, and it is not for anyone who wants instant success or a light structure around the building.
