Jet Island asks for balance, spatial sense, and a bit of nerve, because the whole game is about soaring across huge spaces with movement that feels like a toy and a challenge at once. By our assessment, that movement is its big strength: swinging, gliding, and building momentum give it a sense of freedom that most action games never reach. The trade-off is that the controls are not something you can half-learn, and the game asks for patience before the fun clicks into place. In practice it feels strange at first and then increasingly physical, as if the route is the real puzzle rather than any menu of goals.
