Infinitum

Infinitum sounds like a game that wants scale first and clarity second, and that usually means either a big system, a surreal frame, or both. By our assessment, that kind of title can be attractive when it gives the player room to wander or build, but it also risks feeling vague if the structure is not doing enough work. The honest limit is that a grand name like this does not tell you much about the actual loop, and that often matters more than the branding. In play, that usually translates into a game that asks for patience before it pays off. It sits somewhere between bold concept and empty promise depending on execution. Infinitum is for people who like the idea of open-ended, expansive games; anyone wanting a sharply defined pitch will have less to hold on to.
