Infested Planet

Infested Planet is at its best when a small squad is trying to hold a line while the map keeps throwing alien pressure at it. By our assessment, the appeal comes from that constant tug between tactics and overwhelm: you place units, react fast, and keep adjusting as the infestation spreads. The downside is equally clear, because the game can be punishing if you do not like micromanagement or fast tactical decisions. In practice it feels like fighting a living map that keeps changing under you, which makes each mission tense and tidy at the same time. It sits closer to tactical defense than to a sprawling strategy game, with a leaner and more focused structure. Infested Planet is a good pick for players who like compact strategy under pressure, and it is less kind to anyone who wants slow, open-ended planning.
