Infectonator 3: Apocalypse is a small-scale strategy game about spreading a zombie outbreak and watching maps collapse one area at a time. By our assessment, its main appeal is the quick, toy-box way it turns contagion into a chain reaction of upgrades and new unlocks. The trade-off is repetition, because the joke and the loop are both simple and can wear thin if the same destruction rhythm stops being funny. In play it feels brisk and a bit absurd, with short sessions and lots of clicking through outbreaks rather than careful long-form planning. It sits closer to light management and arcade strategy than to a serious tactics game. The number in the name is part of the title, not a promise of anything deeper, and the game stays firmly on the side of cheeky chaos.
