Industries of Titan

Industries of Titan is a city-building and management game for people who like balancing production chains, power, traffic, and money while a corporate colony grows on an alien moon. By our assessment, its most interesting strength is that it mixes factory logic with city planning, so the player is always thinking about where buildings go and how resources move through the whole layout. The downside is that this kind of game can get busy fast, because the systems stack up and the map starts asking for constant attention. In practice it feels like building a machine that also has streets and workers, which is satisfying when the economy clicks and messy when one link in the chain breaks. Compared with gentler builders, Industries of Titan leans harder into logistics and optimization than decoration. It suits players who enjoy managing interconnected systems and do not mind a lot of menus and planning.
