Iconoclasts is a polished action-platformer that puts tight movement, boss fights, and story-driven progression at the center. By our assessment, its best quality is how much care it gives to level design and animation, so the world feels built rather than merely sketched. The trade-off is that it leans into authored sequences and a fairly specific story tone, which leaves less room for freeform play than looser platformers. In practice it asks for timing, pattern reading, and a little patience when the game shifts from traversal into combat or puzzle beats. Compared with similar indie platformers, it is more deliberate and more narrative-minded, with a stronger sense of pacing.
