INFRA is for players who like environmental storytelling and methodical puzzle work more than action. By our assessment, its strongest idea is the way it turns an industrial city into a slow read: broken tunnels, maintenance spaces, flooded sections, and the quiet logic of moving through them. The downside is pace, because this kind of game can spend a lot of time on walking, looking, and figuring out where the next path actually is. In practice it asks for attention to details in the world, and it rewards people who enjoy piecing together a place from pipes, signs, and blocked routes. It sits closer to immersive sim exploration than to a straight puzzle game, and that mix is what gives INFRA its own face.
