Hover

Hover is a multiplayer first-person game about fast movement and stealing flags, so the whole thing lives or dies on speed, map reading, and clean team pressure. By our assessment, it is most interesting as a stripped-down arena game where momentum matters more than loadout fuss. The downside is also clear: if the movement and objective loop do not click, there is little else to lean on. In practice that means tight runs, sudden turns, and a lot of attention on where people are rather than on long character builds. It sits closer to classic arena shooters than to modern progression-heavy online games, and that keeps it lean. Hover feels built for people who want matches to stay direct and physical, with the flag-capture idea doing most of the work.
