High Profits

High Profits sounds like the kind of game that is more interested in systems than spectacle, and that usually means management, numbers, and a bit of patience. With a title like this, by our assessment, the appeal is likely in watching a simple plan turn into a chain of better returns, which is a good fit for players who like economic games and incremental progress. The downside of that style is familiar: if the loop is thin, it becomes repetitive fast, and there is not much room for action or character. In practice, this sort of game tends to be about balancing choices rather than reacting quickly, so the pace is measured. It sits alongside other business and strategy titles more than arcade or story games, and the name leaves little doubt about the target mood: making money, not making noise.
