Hidden Folks turns search puzzles into busy little dioramas, where the whole point is to pick through hand-drawn scenes for tiny people, objects, and odd bits of activity. By our assessment, its strongest trick is the density of the art: every screen is full of clickable detail, and the sound effects make the act of hunting feel playful rather than dry. The downside is plain enough too: once the joke of peering and prodding wears thin, the loop is still just looking harder and longer. In practice it feels calm, observant, and a bit obsessive, with more delight in discovery than in challenge. Compared with heavier hidden-object games, it is looser and more charming, but also less varied, so it works best as a short-burst search game rather than something to live in for hours. That is why it lands above average, even if it never pretends to be more than a very good scavenger hunt.
