Hell is Others

Hell is Others stands out as a bleak top-down shooter with extraction-style pressure and a survival twist, aimed at players who like risk layered over routine combat. By our assessment, its strongest idea is the way it turns scavenging and territory into constant tension, so every trip out can feel like a small gamble. The downside is equally clear: this kind of design can become harsh, repetitive, and unforgiving if the loop does not keep changing enough. In practice it asks for caution, map sense, and tolerance for losing hard-earned progress, which is part of the appeal for some people and the whole reason others bounce off it. It sits somewhere between PvP survival, extraction games, and twin-stick shooting rather than fitting neatly into one box. Hell is Others is for players who want pressure to be the point, not a side effect, and the ceiling is set by how much punishment they enjoy taking.
