Heli Heroes

Heli Heroes is an arcade helicopter shooter for people who want short bursts of action, simple controls, and the familiar rhythm of flying low, firing often, and dodging incoming fire. By our assessment, its best quality is that it keeps the rules plain: point the craft, shoot, survive, repeat. The downside is that this kind of game can feel thin if you want mission variety or mechanical depth, because the whole design is built around a narrow loop. In practice it plays like a classic top-down or behind-the-craft shooter, with very little ceremony between you and the screen full of targets. It sits well inside the old arcade tradition, alongside other compact score-chasing shooters rather than big campaign games. That makes it easy to understand and easy to outgrow. Heli Heroes is for quick reflex play, not for long strategic planning.
