Heckabomb has the kind of name that suggests something loud, arcadey and a little chaotic, which is already most of the pitch. By our assessment, that usually points to a game that leans on explosions, fast restarts and simple objectives rather than deep systems or story. The good part of that style is immediacy: it can be easy to understand and quick to get moving. The limit is that once the blast-and-repeat loop is known, the game needs real variety to stay interesting.
