Heat Signature is a top-down stealth-action game about sneaking onto spaceships, slipping past guards, and improvising escapes when a plan falls apart. By our assessment, its best trick is the toy-box design of the missions: many small systems interact, so a quiet infiltration can turn into a messy rescue or a loud dash to an airlock. The downside is that this openness can make each job feel a little disposable, since the structure leans more on scenarios than on long progression. In practice it rewards quick reading of rooms, gadgets, and enemy lines of sight, then rewards improvisation when the neat version fails. It sits between stealth and chaotic sandbox action rather than pure tactical play. The name is apt, because the game really does run on those hot, improvised moments when everything changes at once.
