Heads Up!

Heads Up! is a party guessing game built for groups, where one person holds the phone up and everyone else feeds clues until the word is guessed. By our assessment, its best quality is how quickly it gets a room talking; the structure is simple enough that almost anyone can join in after a single round. The limit is obvious too: outside a lively group, it has very little to do, and the whole thing depends on people being willing to shout hints and act silly. In practice it is fast, noisy, and built around social energy rather than depth or long-term play. It sits among casual party games like charades and other clue-based phone games. The Astrina catalogue files it under Games.
