Heading Out

Heading Out is a road game about driving, stopping, and making small decisions while the trip keeps moving forward. By our assessment, its strength is the driving rhythm itself: it is less about racing and more about the feeling of being on the road with choices attached to each stretch. The downside is that this kind of game can be quiet and repetitive if someone wants constant mechanical variety. In play, that usually means watching the route, managing the pace, and letting encounters or events shape the run. It sits somewhere between narrative road trip games and light driving experiences, which gives it a clear identity without making it broad. The ceiling is not spectacle; it is whether the journey feel stays interesting from stop to stop.
