Hard West 2

Hard West 2 takes the turn-based tactics of a grim Western and pushes them toward aggressive, momentum-driven fights. By our assessment, its best feature is how it lets every move feel like part of a chain of follow-ups, so a clever turn can snowball fast. That pace is also the main trade-off: it rewards bold positioning and fast choices, but it leaves less room for the slow, careful crawl that some tactical players prefer. In practice it feels sharp and readable, with guns, cover, and special abilities doing most of the work rather than fiddly systems. Compared with more austere tactics games, it is louder and more kinetic, while still keeping the grid-and-cover logic that makes the genre tick. Hard West 2 is a good pick for players who want tactics with swagger, and a weaker fit for anyone who wants pure, patient attrition.
