Happy Room

Happy Room is a sandbox about testing traps on a dummy in the most straightforward way possible. By our assessment, its appeal comes from the toybox feeling: you place weapons, watch the physics do the work, and see how different setups chain together. The limit is that the joke lands once the pattern is familiar, because the game is built around repeating the same destructive experiment in bigger numbers. In practice it is less a strategy game than a place to tinker with absurd machine rooms and watch them chew through a target. Compared with deeper simulation or construction games, it is much thinner, but it is also quicker to get the point of. It suits people who enjoy short bursts of experimentation and not much narrative, and it runs out of steam if you want long-term systems to master.
