Happy Game is a puzzle-horror that looks cute from a distance and turns sharply stranger once it starts moving. By our assessment, its strongest trick is that contrast: soft colors and childlike surfaces used for unsettling, often surreal problem-solving. The downside is that the experience can feel thin if someone wants a long system to master, because this kind of game leans more on mood and sequence than on depth. In play, it is a short stretch of odd images, simple interactions, and sudden unease, so the texture matters more than the mechanics alone. It sits close to other atmospheric indie horror puzzles, and it is not trying to be a broad adventure or a conventional logic game.
